Extension Agent 4-H Youth Development/Livestock
Jefferson County, Golden, CO
This individual provides primary leadership for the Jefferson County 4-H club program and leadership and support for livestock, small animal and equine programs. This individual works as a member of the local county Extension team and under the guidance and supervision of the Jefferson County Extension Director.
Application materials, including transcript(s) showing degree(s) conferred, must be RECEIVED no later than Noon Mountain Time 2/03/2012 for full consideration. Completed bachelor?s degree required in agriculture, education, recreation, youth development, non-profit management or a closely related field. Completed Master?s degree preferred. A successful candidate without a Master?s degree will be required to complete their Master?s degree, in a program area relevant to their Extension position, within five years of their start date. University and/or Extension resources are available to assist in obtaining the Master?s degree. Failure to do so may result in termination.
