Event Description:
German Fest Denver is inviting all of Colorado to the 10th Annual German Fest Denver 2017. A celebration of German American Heritage and Culture, we take great pride to welcome you to this very special event. Enjoy German hospitality and Gemuetlichkeit in beautiful surroundings. There will be 4 German bands: Jeffco Brass Band will play for your enjoyment and dancing along with The T.E.V. Edelweiss Schuhplattler dancers that will perform traditional Folk dances; also featuring the Polkanauts up beat band. German Fest Denver 2017 is taking place at the Lakewood Heritage Center at 801 S. Yarrow St. in Lakewood. It's a Rain or Shine Event. German Fest Denver is a 501 (c) (3) and the Colorado Folk Arts Council is a 501 (c) (3). Both charities hold this event as a fundraiser. Joining us is the American Historical Society of Germans from Russia also a Non-Profit organization, and the Colorado Rapids Street team. Enjoy German Beer and wine at the German Warsteiner beer garden and German Food prepared by Austrian Chef Neuhold. This is a family event including vendors, Face Painting, Balloon Twisting, Soap Bubbles and a Magician. West Metro Fire District will send a big Fire Truck and give you a tour of the same.
